Summary
The authors report on focus group studies which were conducted to obtain detailed information about consumers' awareness, attitudes, opinions, behaviours, and concerns towards irradiated poultry. They also investigate the effect of labelling information on consumers' willingness to purchase irradiated poultry products, and to provide strategies that could aid in marketing irradiated poultry products.
