Summary

MAINLY ONE STOREY COLD STORES HAVE BEEN DESIGNED WITH CAPACITY FROM 5,000 TO 10,000 TONS, WHICH ARE OF PREFABRICATED REINFORCED CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION OR OF METAL CONSTRUCTION. THE AIR COOLERS ARE SECTIONAL AND CAN BE MOUNTED IN PREMISES EITHER AT FLOOR LEVEL OR AT INTERMEDIATE ELEVATION ABOVE THE PASSAGES OR THEY ARE COMPACT PREFABRICATION, AIR COOLERS CEILING MOUNTED INSIDE THE ROOM. THE COOLING INSTALLATION IS CENTRALIZED AND WORKS WITH A CIRCULATION PUMP SYSTEM. AN AUTOMATIC CONTROL OF THE MACHINES IS PROVIDED TO ENSURE NECESSARY AMOUNTS OF COLD FOR THE FRUIT COLD STORES. AIR RELATIVE HUMIDITY IS MAINTAINED AUTOMATICALLY BY MEANS OF AN AUTOMATIC SPRAYING OF WATER STEAM.
