[In Japanese. / En japonais.]
Author(s) : IMANISHI H.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Low temperatures at different development stages are effective for dormancy breaking, rosetting prevention, and induction, initiation or development of flower-buds and thus result in accelerated flowering. Long-term storage at low temperatures is also effective in retarding flowering. Some cultural methods applied commercially in florist crop production are introduced.
