Cooling, heating and electrical power cogeneration with air as a working fluid.
Author(s) : HENATSCH A., ELIASZ J., MORGENSTERN J.
Summary
An alternative to the costly absorption-type refrigerating machine may be the exhaust-gas-driven, cold-air refrigerating machine. It derives its benefits from the use of the least pollutive refrigerant, which is air, but also from a smaller mass and volume than absorption-type refrigerating machines. In addition, its operating characteristics allow for the supply of cold at low temperatures without a substantial loss in refrigerating capacity.
