This article presents the latest developments in continuous fast cooling technologies involving cooling tunnels. The energy consumption of this type of plant was reduced by implementing optimized technological solutions: the ventilation technologies and modes, tightness with respect to air inflow, and use of regulating methods applying free cooling.
