Summary

Objectives of the Country Programme: 1) to implement the means for buying relevant refrigerants on international market, so as to substitute present refrigerants with adequate new ones; present refrigerants will be used in insulant processing; 2) to meet the industrial requirements in the medium term: construction of air conditioners, refrigerators, commercial and industrial refrigerating plants, until 2030, and maintenance of such equipment until 2045; in the framework of the Montreal Protocol. The training of technical and professional personnel has been foreseen; it should concern 15 thousand people in Columbia. The author estimates the total cost of the Country Programme at 15 million dollars, of which 50% autofinancing, and the rest to be financed by the multilateral fund of the Montreal Protocol. The cost of each prioritary investment is mentioned. J.G.
