Summary
An overview of results of a 5-year study on the occurrence of fungi and mycotoxins in all major food commodities traded in Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines is presented. Fungi were detected and enumerated by direct plating. Over 35,000 fungi were isolated and identified. The most important ones are given.
