Summary
Through continuous advances in theory and experiment, dynamic light diffusion can today be successfully used for determining a number of transport coefficients and other substance data. The paper reports on measurements done, using this method, of heat conductivity, binary diffusion coefficients, dynamic viscosity, sound speed, sound attenuation, and specific-heat relations (Landau-Placzek relation).
