NEW WORKING FLUIDS SYSTEMS FOR ABSORPTION HEAT PUMPS AND ABSORPTION HEAT TRANSFORMERS.

Summary

RESEARCH WAS MADE ON NEW WORKING FLUID PAIRS FOR USE IN HEAT PUMPS AND HEAT TRANSFORMERS. THE SELECTION WAS DONE FOLLOWING A SYSTEMATICAL APPROACH BASED ON MOLECULAR PROPERTIES. THE REFRIGERANTS INVESTIGATED ARE TRIFLUORETHANOL (TFE) AND HEXAFLUOROISOPROPANOL (HFIP). THEY ARE COMBINED WITH SOLVENTS OF THE GROUP OF ORGANIC HETEROCYCLES. EXPERIMENTAL DATA ARE PRESENTED ON VAPOUR PRESSURE, HEAT OF MIXING, VAPOUR LIQUID EQUILIBRIUM, DENSITY AND VISCOSITY.
