Summary

The objective of this project is to develop new candidates for CFC and HCFC alternatives. Fluorinated compounds which contain oxygen, nitrogen or silicone were selected, synthesized and their basic properties were measured. Among the selected compounds, fluorinated ethers gave useful properties as candidates for CFCs and HCFCs alternatives. These fluorinated ethers can be candidates for refrigerants, blowing agents and solvents.
