Developing the hydrofluorocarbon range: fluids for centrifugal compressors.
Author(s) : CORR S., MORRISON J. D., MURPHY F. T., POWELL R. L.
Summary
Consideration of relatively simple, approximate relationships between molecular structure and the macroscopic properties of a fluid can provide an insight into those compounds most likely to be preferred as refrigerants for centrifugal compressors. A compromise may be necessary between flammability and thermodynamic performance.
