Summary

THE HEATING, COOLING, AND GENERATION OF 358 K (85 DEG C) HOT WATER COULD BE DONE EFFICIENTLY. THE IDEA IS TO ADAPT A HIGH PRESSURE REFRIGERANT FOR HEATING, COOLING, AND LOW-TEMPERATURE HOT WATER GENERATION, WHILE THE REFRIGERANT MIXTURE (LOW PRESSURE) IS USED FOR HIGH-TEMPERATURE HOT WATER GENERATION. ITS PRACTICAL APPLICATION REQUIRES MIXING AND SEPARATING OPERATIONS BEFORE AND AFTER THE HIGH-TEMPERATURE HOT WATER GENERATION. PRELIMINARY EXPERIMENTS WITH AN R22/R114 MIXTURE CONFIRMED THAT A SMALL PACKED TOWER COULD RECTIFY THE REFRIGERANT OF THE MAIN CIRCUIT IN A SHORT TIME. A PRACTICAL SYSTEM WAS DEVELOPED AND TESTED. THE RESULTS SHOWED EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE FOR EACH OPERATING MODE.
