Development of gas-fired lithium bromide absorption technology in China.

Author(s) : WANG C. Q.

Summary

In 2000, the Chinese government inaugurated the West-East gas transmission pipeline project and construction began at the end of 2001. This huge natural gas source brings great opportunities to develop gas-fired lithium bromide absorption machines in China. In the paper, background on the prospects for gas-fired lithium bromide absorption machines is introduced; how to develop the technology is also analysed. Some suggestions are given.
