Dynamic simulation of a gas-fired double-effect lithium bromide absorption chiller.

Author(s) : FU D., LU Z., CAO W., et al.

Summary

The paper focuses on the dynamic characteristics of a gas-fired double-effect lithium bromide absorption chiller when it is subjected to variations in certain running parameters such as the mass flow rates or temperatures of entering cooling or chilled water, and the gas consumption rate. Several dynamic responses of the chiller have been investigated. The simulation results have been verified by experimental data and are consistent. To keep a stable chilled water temperature at the outlet, the relationship between the gas consumption rate and the temperatures of entering cooling or chilled water are presented.
