DEVELOPMENT OF RECTIFYING CIRCUIT WITH MIXED REFRIGERANTS.

Author(s) : YOSHIDA Y.

Type of article: Article, IJR article

Summary

COMPUTER PROGRAMS WERE DEVELOPED IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THE THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF REFRIGERANT MIXTURES, AND IT WAS SHOWN EXPERIMENTALLY THAT THE R22-R13B1 MIXTURE WAS PROMISING FOR HEAT PUMPS LOCATED IN COLD AREAS. USING REFRIGERANT MIXTURES RATHER THAN PURE R22 INCREASES THE ADVANTAGES OF A COMPRESSOR DRIVEN BY AN INVERTER. METHODS FOR EVALUATING THE COMPOSITION OF REFRIGERANT MIXTURES IN A RECTIFYING CIRCUIT WERE DEVELOPED ; THE CALCULATED VALUES ARE CORRELATED WITH THE EXPERIMENTAL VALUES. A SMALL SPIRAL AND PACKED RECTIFIER WAS DEVELOPED AND ITS PERFORMANCE WAS DETERMINED WITH AN AIR-AIR HEAT PUMP.
