Development of the materials for sliding parts of the compressor for HFCs.

Summary
To improve the severe sliding conditions that are caused by the combination of HFCs and ester oil, the authors conducted different studies. First, they studied the wear mechanism in ester -oil, and particularly the following: relation with chemical reaction, temperature affecting the reaction, thickness of the oil film, anticorrosion properties. Finally, they developed new materials with high wear resistance properties, providing compressors for HFCs with better reliability.
