Dynamic analysis of centralized refrigeration systems in food plants.

Summary

A knowledge-based system permitting simulation of an entire winery is presented, including both overall refrigeration requirements in the factory and cold production and accumulation centralized system behaviour. Simulation has shown the interest of this accumulation system in wineries, permitting to decrease the energy consumption and to increase reliability of processing, and to improve the refrigeration system design and operation.
