Summary

The authors describe a computer software program for dynamic simulation of a small-scale refrigeration system with multi-refrigerant, and discusses how to match a refrigeration appliance when the refrigerant is replaced by new one. A simulation model of a refrigeration system, including a compressor, an evaporator, a condenser, a capillary tube and thermal insulation, was developed. A good agreement is observed between simulation and experimental results.
