THE MAIN DIAGRAMS OF PIPINGS SELECTED BY USUAL PRACTICE ARE REMEMBERED FOR THE CASE OF DEFROSTING BY HOT GAS IN LARGE LOW TEMPERATURE COLD ROOMS. OWING TO POSSIBILITIES OF OPERATING OFFERED BY CONTROL PROGRAMMERS, SOME DETECTORS ARE PRESENTED WHICH ALLOW TO FIND THE BEST INSTANTS TO START AND FINISH THE DEFROSTINGS. FROM THE ONLY POINT OF VIEW OF SAVINGS, IT APPEARS THAT THE DEVICES AFFECTED TO THE SECOND FUNCTION ARE THE MOST INTERESTING.
