[In Russian. / En russe.]
Author(s) : ALIEV Z. S.
Type of article: Article
Summary
IN ORDER TO DECREASE IRREGULAR AIR VELOCITY AND BOOST, THE VENTILATION OF STACKS DURING THE STORAGE OF CABBAGE, 3 AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS WERE TESTED: HORIZONTAL, VERTICAL AND CROSS-FLOW. IN SPITE OF THE INCREASE IN THE WEIGHT LOSS OF CABBAGE DUE TO DRYING WHEN THE AIR VELOCITY IS INCREASED IN STACKS, THE OVERALL LOSS OF CABBAGE DECREASED. THE COST OF THE STORAGE OF CABBAGE WITH HORIZONTAL AIR DISTRIBUTION WAS 7.3 ROUBLES PER TON OF CABBAGE.
