THE PAPER GIVES THE RESULTS OF RESEARCH WORK CARRIED OUT ON THE USE OF ISOTHERMAL CONTAINERS TO TRANSPORT GREENHOUSE TOMATOES. ISOTHERMAL CONTAINERS SHOULD BE USED FOR NO LONGER THAN 95/125 HOURS ; WITH AN OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE NOT HIGHER THAN 305 K (32 DEG C) ; AND WITH PRECOOLING OF TOMATOES HAVING BEEN DONE AT 284-286 K (11-13 DEG C). THE USE OF ISOTHERMAL CONTAINERS REDUCES BY 2 TO 5% LOSSES IN TOMATOES DURING TRANSPORT.
