ADDITION OF HYDROCORTISONE, DEXAMETHASONE OR ACETYL SALICYLIC ACID TO THE FREEZING MEDIUM AFFECTED FAVOURABLY THE PRESERVATION OF HUMAN LEUCOCYTES AT LOW TEMPERATURES. THIS MADE IT POSSIBLE TO DECREASE THE CONCENTRATION OF CRYOPROTECTANT, POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL-400, WITHOUT DETERIORATION OF THE CRYOPRESERVATION RESULTS.
