Summary
In certain conditions, ozone seems to extend the storage life of broccoli and seedless cucumbers at 3 °C. Ozone is able to reduce the ethylene level in cold storage rooms where fruits and vegetables are stored together. The study explores the potential use of ozone in these cases.
