Summary
Coating of citrus fruits with Rinrei's wax not only increased the surface brightness of fruits, but also reduced their weight loss. Experiments were made with different concentrations of wax, on shaddock, mandarin, orange, grape fruits and other fruits. In some cases, chilling injury was reduced, and ripening, softening and shelf life were improved.
