Summary
It was concluded that the shelf life of pre harvest growth regulator-sprayed fruits in cold storage can be extended up to 30 days in paper and polythene bags. However, the shelf life can be enhanced up to 40 days effectively by spraying ethephon 400-500 ppm at colour-break stage and storing the fruits in paper bags.
