Summary

'Valencia' orange fruits were harvested, sorted, graded and treated with a wax coating (Primafresh and Cerabar "Dr"). Fruits were grouped, put inside export boxes and held in refrigerated rooms at 5, 10 and 15 °C during five storage periods (initial, 15, 30, 45, and 60 days). Total soluble solids, titratable acidity and pH were investigated and relations between these data and quality were studied.
