Effect of structural factors on aging curve of refrigerated vehicles.

Number: pap. ID: 297

Author(s) : CORAIN L., MATTIELLO F., PANOZZO G., et al.

Summary

Recent literature highlighted the influence of specific structural factors on aging of refrigerated vehicles (Corain et al., 2010). The purpose of this paper is to consider a suitable representation of the aging via a growing curve and fit it to an updated database of measurements and real aging data in order to separately estimate the effect of each specific structural factor. In this way, the authors provide to researchers and practitioners in the field an easy-to-use statistical tool able to reliably forecast the aging curve of a given refrigerated vehicle once its structural characteristics have been set up.
