Summary

To improve the performance and enlarge the operation conditions of air-source heat pump, a quasi two-stage compression heat pump system coupled with ejector was designed. The prototype of the heat pump system coupled with ejector was experimented comprehensively when condensation temperature keeps at 45ºC and evaporation temperature varies from -8 to -25ºC and the effects of the ejectors on the performances of the heat pump was discussed. The results demonstrate that the heat pump coupled with the ejector with optimized construction has higher coefficient of performance in a wide range of operation conditions and achieve its better performances while the ejection coefficient (u) is 0.1.
