Emissions from foams: predicting, monitoring, reporting and reducing.

Author(s) : ASHFORD P.

Summary

The paper explores the development of global emission models for foams using blowing agents with perceived direct environmental impacts. It builds upon work originally conducted for AFEAS and develops emission scenarios for the twelve key foam sub-sectors which may use HFCs in future. Efforts to verify the modelling assumptions are described and details are given of further work likely to be commissioned in this field to provide confirmation in certain areas of doubt.
