Considerations for the responsible use of HFCs in foams.
Author(s) : ASHFORD P.
Summary
The paper explores the issues of energy efficiency, safety and cost/availability as they are likely to affect uptake of HFCs and makes early predictions about the volumes of HFCs which may be used in future. The emissions profiles for these materials are also briefly considered and the need for a renewed focus on end-of-life management is identified.
