Summary

A manual of energy efficiency in the beer and malt sector is presented, within the frame of a technological innovation strategy which favours energy efficiency, contributes to diminishing environmental impacts, improves the quality of the products and in general lowers the cost of production, generating competitiveness. The study is of interest to enterprises within the technology sector and to other users concerned by energy efficiency. (see also IIR Bulletin ref. 2000 - 0304 and 2000 - 0875).
