Summary

The paper briefly presents the EOL predictive ventilation software developed by the INRS. It begins with a summary description of the physical and mathematical bases of the programme, then explains how it is used, with particular emphasis on the inputting of boundary conditions. Finally, some simple examples of numerical simulations using EOL are presented: painting booth, premises with under-floor heating, air flow produced by a complex diffuser, laboratory fume hoods, office ventilation.
