Summary
The pressure, composition, and temperature surface for the locus of states at liquid-vapour phase equilibrium for mixtures of the refrigerants R12 (dichloro-difluoro-methane), R22 (monochloro-difluoro-methane), and R134a (1,1,2,2 tetrafluoro-ethane) in solutions of commercial grade alkyl benzene and polyester lubricants are presented over a broad range of state conditions characteristic of those found in domestic refrigeration systems. Representations of these surfaces by lambda-expansion are assessed.
