THE RESULTS ARE PRESENTED OF THE EXERGETIC ANALYSIS OF THE OPE RATION OF A VAPOUR-COMPRESSION REFRIGERATING PLANT, AT TYPICAL TEMPERATURES FOR AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEMS. THE COOLANT USED IN THE EVAPORATOR AND CONDENSER IS WATER. THE STUDY IS CARRIED OUT FOR R12, R22 AND AMMONIA. RANGES OF EVAPORATIONAND CONDENSATION TEMPERATURES ARE RECOMMENDED. C.C.
