Summary

New type of ATEKO turbines HET is based on a long term verified fully dynamic gas bearing conception and braking by eddy current brake. This type of turbines with cooling power limited to 10 kW transforms the power into the heat which is taking off by cooling water. Rotor Cooling Circuit which circulates the He in a closed circuit to keep the rotating parts thermal stable. Application of eddy current brake simplifies the turbine starting, stopping and operation procedure. Turbine start period takes only 2 minutes (80% of the asked speed step takes 2 minutes only for rotating parts temperature stabilizing). Fully dynamic radial/axial gas bearings are designed for extremely long life time.
