Summary
Under different boiling pressure, it is conducted that an experimental research of nature refrigerant CO2 electrical heating pool boiling heat transfer outside single smooth tube. It’s obtained that the heat transfer correlation of smooth tube under high flux after studying the variation relationship of boiling heat transfer coefficient along with the heat flux and the boiling pressure. Compared with other existed heat transfer correlations, the new fitting formula values of CO2 match with calculated values of existed correlations very well, the maximum error is 15% when compared to calculated values of Cooper correlation. This research is useful for exploration of CO2 pool boiling heat transfer and the design of evaporator.
