Experimental study on influencing factors of controlled atmosphere (CA) storage of snap beans.

Author(s) : JI A., LI J., YIN G., et al.

Summary

The influence effects of storage temperature, maturity and varieties of snap beans in CA (O2: 2-5%, CO2: 2-3%) were introduced in this paper. The experimental results verified that 10°C was the appropriate storage temperature of snap beans in CA, and moderately mature snap beans had preferable storage behaviour, the varieties of snap beans had different storage effects, in which "Zihua" snap beans had longer storage periods than the others.
