Flammability characteristics of some alternative refrigerants.
[In German. / En allemand.]

Type of article: Article
Summary
Unlike nonflammable CFCs, the HCFCs show explosibility characteristics dependent on temperature and pressure conditions of the HCFC/air mixture, as well as on the number of the remaining hydrogen atoms in the molecules. Explosion hazards may be too serious in large scale refrigeration plants with those materials.
