Quality labels and labels of origin show that this economic sector was for long preoccupied with its tradition and the quality of its products. This concern about quality had to meet the world of standardization. In March 1994 the "NF Agro-alimentaire" label was added to the range of tools already available for this industrial sector in order to indicate the quality of certain products.
