Summary
Seven French bean cultivars were grown in a heated greenhouse in Belgium. Cultivars were sown on 12 January 1998 and planted on 26 January. Harvesting started on 4 March. Highest yields were obtained for Pursan (3203 g/m2), but the majority of beans fell outside the Flandria quality (undefined). The quality of different cultivars before and after storage at 9-12 °C is evaluated.
