Summary
The effect of storing cultivars Omani, Iranian, Indian and Chinese for 0, 7 or 25 deg C for 30 days before planting in the field on leaf initiation, and clove differentiation, development and yield was investigated during 1990-91. Results are given. All cultivars, except Indian, showed a 3 fold increase in bulb yield at 0 deg C compared to 25 deg C.
