Summary
The Danone group of companies, a world leader in its main market areas (dairy products, sweet snacks and mineral water), has long had both an active food safety policy and a tradition of environmental protection. This article presents these two linked themes, with emphasis on Danone's rigorous and consistent strategic approach. Several indicators and examples illustrating this strategy are provided.
