GENERALIZED NUMERICAL SOLUTION OF THE HEAT CONDUCTION PROBLEM IN SOLIDS OF DIVERSE CONFIGURATION DURING CONVECTIVE COOLING.

SOLUTION NUMERIQUE GENERALISEE DU PROBLEME DE CONDUCTION THERMIQUE DANS DES SOLIDES DE DIVERSES CONFIGURATIONS AU COURS DU REFROIDISSEMENT PAR CONVECTION.

Summary

A GENERALIZED NUMERICAL SOLUTION WAS OBTAINED FOR A HIGHLY GENERAL THERMOPHYSICS PROBLEM THAT INCLUDES A LARGE CLASS OF ISOLATED PROBLEMS OF HEAT CONDUCTION THEORY. A MATHEMATICAL MODEL WAS DEVELOPED FOR DETERMINING THE NON-STATIONARY TEMPERATURE FIELD AND THE DURATION OF THE COOLING (HEATING) OF DIVERSELY CONFIGURATED SOLIDS BY USING A UNIVERSALIZED APPROACH. COVERED SIMULTANEOUSLY ARE ALL 3 CLASSICAL ONE-DIMENSIONAL BODIES (INFINITE SLAB, INFINITE CYLINDER AND SPHERE), AS WELL AS VARIED AND COMPLICATED MULTIDIMENSIONAL SOLIDS. THE MODEL CREATED CAN ALSO BE APPLIED FOR OTHER PHYSICAL TRANSFER PROCESSES HAVING ANALOGOUS MATHEMATICAL DESCRIPTIONS TO THAT OF HEAT CONDUCTION, ETC.
