Summary
A breakthrough in the field of environmentally friendly alternatives to the notorious CFCs and an example for the entire refrigeration industry. This is how Greenpeace describes the development of the world's first ozone-friendly domestic refrigerator which works using a mixture of propane and butane instead of R12 or R22. The environmental organisation is promoting the launch of the Greenfreeze, as the refrigerator has been christened, while refusing to give any financial details. Greenpeace would like the inflexible conservative refrigeration market to start moving along the road to genuinely environment-friendly refrigeration.
