Author(s) : LA ROCCA V., MORALE M.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The paper reports results of a lot of tests replacing R12 in home refrigerators with propane and butane. They showed that, with simple drop-in operation, it is possible to use old home refrigerators, improving their efficiency. Moreover, an appropriate amount of natural working fluid makes it possible to save primary energy, thus reducing greenhouse effects.
