Heat and mass process analysis in a plate-type ammonia water ice generator.

Summary
The authors examine mathematically the process of development of the ice layer on an ammonia-cooled plate. The model takes into account the time, the thickness of the ice layer, the boiling temperature of the refrigerant. The results obtained are compared to experimental data.
