THE FORMER WAS SOON BLOCKED BY BACTERIAL GROWTH ON THE SURFACE AND FOUND UNSUITABLE. PLATE EVAPORATOR WITH AUTOMATIC CLEANING SYSTEM INSTALLED SEEMS TO BE A SAFE SOLUTION. THIS EVAPORATOR CAN ALSO BE USED FOR LOW TEMPERATURE WATER, DOWN TO APPROXIMATELY 2 K ABOVE FREEZING POINT AT THE INLET. HIGH K-VALUES ARE REACHED, EG 1,200-1,400 W/M2K WITH REFRIGERANT R22 AND 1,000-1,200 W/M2 K WITH R12.
