AN OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOL COMPRISING A POOL FOR SWIMMERS AND LEARNERS ALIKE, CHANGING AND SHOWER ROOMS, SAUNA, RESTAURANT AND ADJOINING SPACES, WHICH WAS SUPPLIED WITH STEAM FROM AN OIL-HEATED POWER STATION, HAS BEEN PROVIDED WITH A HEAT PUMP INSTALLATION. GROUND WATER IS USED AS A HEAT SOURCE. THE INSTALLATION COVERS 4 HEAT PUMPS OF WHICH ONE IS EMPLOYED ONLY FOR HEATING THE POOL WATER (REFRIGERANT R22), TWO PUMPS ARE OPTIONALLY EMPLOYED FOR HEATING THE POOL WATER OR THE ROOMS (REFRIGERANT R12, INTERMEDIATE HEAT EXCHANGER) AND THE FOURTH ONLY FOR HEATING PROCESS WATER FOR SANITARY PURPOSES (REFRIGERANT R12).
