Heat pumps for waste heat recovery and economical use of energy.
Author(s) : STEIMLE F.
Summary
The efficiency from primary energy sources to electricity delivered to a building is about 32%. That means the COP of the heat pump must be at least 3 in the heating system. Some examples of heat pumps are given, direct fired or energical with waste heat. Combination with cogeneration plants is discussed.
