Summary
THE HEAT TRANSMISSION THROUGH THE RIBBED SURFACES OF A TUBE HAS BEEN DETERMINED AND THE COEFFICIENT K HAS BEEN CALCULATED FROM FORMULAE GIVEN IN LITERATURE. THESE CALCULATIONS ENABLE ONE TO DETERMINE THE MAXIMUM TEMPERATURE OF THE SPIRAL FINS.
